Dutch hospitality in Bavarian Forest

Zum Fliegenden Holländer means the flying Dutchmen but also the Dutchmen that fled. And we did. We left house, job, stress and family in the Netherlands and started a new life with our small, non-smoking, family-owned B&B which is quietly located on the edge of the Bavarian Forest and the village of Rabenstein (Zwiesel).



Our rooms are tastefully furnished in the traditional Bavarian style, all rooms have comfortable beds (Hästens), easy chairs, own bathroom with shower/WC, flat screen satellite-TV and Free WLAN connection. From your balcony or terrace you’ll have a lovely view over the village and the surrounding mountains.



Our sumptuous breakfast buffet with freshly made tea, coffee and cocoa is served in our cosy Stuberl, where a 3 course dinner is available if you so choose.

We have a free car park for our house-guests, a garage for motorcycles and for those who come by train; we offer a shuttle service.

Our location is ideal for summer and winter activities. You can hike, bike or swim, go horseback-riding or even play a round of golf, as we have several 18 holes golf courses nearby. Alpine-ski, cross-country-ski, snowboarding or winter walks. If you enjoy any of these, this is the right place for you.
