Northwest will not accept golf equipment without a cover. A hard-shell case is recommended.
Trans-Atlantic / Trans-Pacific Travel:
Included in Free Allowance: No charge as long as golf bag(s) adhere to normal weight and size limits.
- If a golf bag is within the free allowance but weighs between 51 and 70 pounds, the standard fee of $50.00 is applied.
- If a golf bag is an additional piece of luggage, one golf bag will be accepted for a flat fee of $75.00
- Full normal excess charges will apply to each additional golf bag being checked.
Travel wholly within/between US/CA/Mexico and the Caribbean (note: charges are cumulative):
- Included in Free Allowance: No charge as long as golf bag(s) adhere to normal weight and size limits.
- When a golf bag is not within the free allowance, the standard fee of $25.00 is applied if it's the second piece of luggage or $100.00 if it's the third or subsequent piece.
- If the golf bag is an oversized piece of luggage (63" - 160"), the standard fee of $100.00 is applied.
- If the golf bag weighs between 51 and 70 pounds, the standard fee of $50.00 is applied.
- Overweight/oversize fees are collected in addition to the excess luggage fee.
