I played this course some twelve years ago with my son. Had a great day and the course was excellent. Thinking of going back, again with my son (14 & 18 handicappers respectively so want a proper course)but a) with the reviews and b) the fact that this course is left out of all golf break brochures and even the official French tourist notes of golf courses in the area I really am now re-considering. Also, when checked green fees, regard them as excessive. 30 euros weekday / 35 euros weekend would probably attract people back, but 40/45 are people going to risk it ? Anyone been recently ?

the course was in a derelict condition the fairways were uncut and the greens untended and very poor. the cost was expensive and many municipal courses would put this course to shame

This course which we played on April 4th was dreadful. The grass on the fairways was hardly mown, often covered in daisies making it difficult to find the ball, the greens were little better than my front lawn, and the whole place seemed neglected.
Their excuse was the amount of rain recently

The undulating American style greens are difficult to read, and together with the English style bunkers and ponds make Ruminghem a difficult but very interesting course. If you play your handicap here, you can play your handicap anywhere."
